There`s a monkey in my tummy

March 23, 2016 Written by admin

Naughty children have a good reason they are naughty.
It’s because of the monkey in their tummy,
deep down beyond the heart, and past the lungs.
In a chair, deep inside the dark tummy, sits a very naughty monkey.
Controlling the child, making them do all manner of things.
Giggling, farting, being selfish, being lazy.
It can’t be the child doing all these naughty things….can it?

In `There’s monkey in my tummy`, we meet a little child who says exactly this.
This is why they stay in bed.
This is why they giggle in school.
This is why they don’t share their toys.
This is why they eat sweets and candy and cake… it’s the monkey doing it all….
but I don’t think mum and dad believe this!
